(esedaz & legaspi, 2010) THe collaboration between a counselor & teacher. Everytime Arrellano and I collaborate we get along and make great music. He is a talented artist, I really enjoy the story of the song. We made this to inspire the super scholars to graduate with pride. I am singing the hook and love it. It was a great opportunity to get back in the studio. To do a song like this made me feel good and reflects my passion for what I do.

AfterSchool Session (Enrique Gabriel, the Teacher & DanniBoi, the Student) We were ready to pack up, the students had signed out. Danni was wanting to jam out, so before freestyling we asked a colleague for some ideas for a song topic, and she mentioned that did not believe in love. The response is this song, another spectacular collaboration between scholars. The video shows not only an authentic fresstyle but a dialogue to create lyrics for the song.

AcademicArtistProject - HowCOME [Live Version] / (Mr. Enrique Gabriel Legaspi, the Teacher, Alex Medina, the Emcee / Student, DanniBoi, the Musicican / Student) This is something remarkable, I am so proud to be a part of something special like this session that the three of us had in room 162. The timing is inspirational because it is the 100th episode to be posted for the world, but also it is a culmination of talent and a journey of scholars who share common purpose for their community. But also find music to express our love and skills to those who love and hate what we do. We represent a uniqueness, no one else in Boyle Heights or even in Los Angeles is showcasing the music we are making. The song HOW COME is a collection of events, all coalesced by the academic artist project. I have many achievements in my portfolio, but this is one of my favorites. It shows my work with students and definitely lets everyone know that students got art! I would like to say thank you to my family and true friends who have guided me...EL, SMS, GM, JML, GML, NYC<3, EA, WA, RJL, JL, DW. Big up to Nato for production! Fantastic Producer and my cuzin'

Classroom Jam Session, an academic artist project (Enrique Gabriel, the Teacher; DanniBoi, the Student; Alex, the Student) We took a brainstorm and brought it to another level by collaborating even further! It was a lot of fun. I was tired from the day, talent show rehearsals, set design, after school program, meetings, and teaching...but it was a good way to end the day.

Classroom Session (Composed by Student DanniBoi Senior Class of '09 & Lyrics freestyled by Enrique Gabriel Legaspi, Teacher) After school , students from different grade levels came by the class to visit and many are talented. Danny, wantd to jam out, and I am always down to rhyme and sing, especially after a hard days' work. He went to Mr. Don's class borrowed a guitar and we got in front of the photo booth and put together a lil' somethin that shows a genuine collaboration between musicians and people that have something to share.

Lo Siento(9th wonder Instrumental) I made this song in response to the pain I felt after I did something really wrong. I make mistakes, this happened to be one of those where I had to reflect on my weaknesses and think about how to reamain ambitions and takle what hurts and make it into determination. There is a girl whom is the most special to me...she inspires me to be who I am, to push the envelope and take it to new heights!
